Repackaging business software

Repackaging is buying in bulk and selling in small sizes — sugar, flour, spices, oils. Thenaji was built around it: it records each repack, carries the bulk’s cost into every packet, and keeps the leftover in the open bag rather than calling it a loss.

Repacked products in Thenaji: a 25 kg bag, the open sack and the 1 kg, 0.5 kg and 0.25 kg packets made from it

What it handles for you

  • Break a sack, drum or carton into the packet sizes your customers buy
  • The cost of the bulk shared fairly across the packets it made
  • What is left in the open bag kept as stock, not written off
  • A report comparing what you repack against what you buy ready-made
  • Packets that run low shown beside the bulk you have to make more from

Questions owners ask

How does it work out what a packet cost me?

From the bulk it came out of. A 50 kg sack bought at 4,000 makes each kilo 80, so a half-kilo packet carries 40 — nobody has to type it.

What happens to what is left in the bag?

You say whether it is still in the open bag or actually lost. If it is still there, it stays in stock and the packets carry only what they hold.
